I have seen Dr. Twombly for 15 years and he has gotten me through a lot of physical crises. I still go regularly to deal with the aches and pains of being active or being a couch potato. The therapy staff has been consistently great and the other doctors in the office are also excellent.
I’ve had problems with my back for many years. Dr. Twombly has been a huge help, and I like him personally very much. The therapists range from good to excellent. The office staff are friendly and accommodating.
Just returned from Dr. Twombly’s care and I cannot express the relief I feel. After days of migraine and sore neck, I finally decided to search for a chiropractor. Dr. Twombly is a rare breed as he takes time to get to the root of a problem. He’s so personable, easy to talk to, very experienced, and made considerable effort to educate me about the entire chiropractic process. I sensed that he really cares about every person that visits his practice. Great staff too!!

After 35 years of dismissing chiropractic practices, I found myself at the mercy of Dr. Twombly at Irvine Family Health Center Chiropractic Offices in Irvine. If you can believe it, I was lying on a beach, went to get up, and couldn’t. My husband and kids had to watch me crawl off a beach and writhe in pain. Unable to stand up straight, I was brought to Twombly, who carefully realigned my spine. The pain was almost instantly gone and I walked out of his office, returning for just a few more adjustments. I was sold! He is a miracle worker. I did not have any other back problems until I spent an hour jumping on a trampoline with my kids. I went back to Twombly, admitted to my error in judgement, and he realigned my spine, neck, and feet. When I left his office, I was 70% better. By the next morning, I was 90%. Right now, I am 100%. On top of Dr. Timothy Twombly knowing what he is doing, he has a great bedside manner. He is professional and affirming. This review is about two years over due…..I would give this place ten stars if I could….. I had two herniated discs in my back to the point where I was walking crooked and was in debilitating pain. I was nearly ready to go in for back surgery when I found this place on the Internet. I was skeptical at first about the spinal decompression, however I was willing to try anything to avoid back surgery, yet I needed to get rid of the pain. My spinal decompression was a success and it has been for almost two years now. I have bad days and good ones with my back, however the good far outweigh the bad and the decompression treatment was money well spent. If it were not for this place, I would have had to resulted to a surgery and I always hear the horror stories about the outcome. I would defiantly suggest trying the decompression if you have back pain, as it certainly worked for me without any issues for almost two years now.
Dr. Twombly is by far the best Chiropractor Ive ever seen Other chiropractors Ive seen in the past were always pushy about getting you in at least every other day, etc…. this has never been the case with Dr. Twombly. He provides the services that you need and that’s all.

Back in February, I had intense migraines to the point where I could not deal with any noise and light for over a week and a half. Went to my family doctor which prescribed me Imitrex, but it immobilized me and I did not want to keep taking it. So I decided to try going to a chiropractor. Looked on Yelp to find a chiropractor near by and found Dr. Twombly. Not only did he help me get rid of them he provided me his knowledge on migraines I was very impressed. Dr. Twombly and the team did wonders on my migraines and I can say that I have been migraine free since! Most definitely will be a patient for life and have already suggested them to family,friends and coworkers. Keep up the fantastic work!
I met Dr. Timothy Twombly today for the first time and let me tell you, this doc knows his stuff. One of the most elite and well versed in spinal and overall healthcare. Couldn’t have gone better!
Dr. Twombly is amazing! I sprained my lower back and had been in pain for a week before seeing him. After 3 visits I feel so much better. On my 2nd & 3rd visit I got worked on by Chris and he was spectacular. Couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience for my first time at a chiropractor.
I have been a patient of Dr. Twombly’s now for 12 years. He is a phenomenal chiropractor.
His adjustments are specific and expert! What this means is that you don’t hurt and ache after he adjusts you. He’s intuitive and thorough.
It wasn’t until very recently that I actually understood the millions of benefits that result from chiropractic care…but I can honestly pinpoint about 2 dozen conversations where Dr. Twombly tried explaining these things to me. I guess I just wasn’t ready to listen yet.
Now, I know how beneficial getting adjusted is to my health and I’m a patient for life!

The massage therapists are very thorough too! I haven’t had a massage in about a year but, every massage I received there was phenomenal!
I think someone else mentioned that you might plan for a little longer of a visit.. 2 hours. I concur… but just know that your time will be well spent!
I have been having neck and back problems for some time now and often times get very bad headaches. I originally went to a different chiro in Tustin who was good, but presented me with an absolutely absurd treatment plan that required a ridiculous amount of time and money. While trying to determine if this was something worth doing, I decided to call around and see if I could get a second opinion. I ended up calling this office and was immediately given very honest answers from Victor. He scheduled me for a consultation that very same day to meet with Dr. Twombly and well, I’ve never looked back! The service is incredible and there is an attention to detail that you rarely get in the healthcare industry these days. Victor manages to work with my schedule to get me in there at the last minute, Daniel is my go to for therapy and thanks to Dr. Twombly, I always leave their office feeling significantly better. I would highly recommend them for any chiro issues you need addressed!
I found Dr Twombly through Yelp. I am so glad that I did. I stopped seeing a chiropractor years ago because I was tired of “the hustle”. Dr Twombly (and staff) are true professionals that genuinely care about your health and recovery. I’ve treated 5 times and am on the path to feeling brand new. Dr Twombly gives a thorough adjustment- from my feet to my neck. My balance is better, my strength has increased and I’ve seen much improvement in my condition. The office is very close to my home, which is wonderful, but I would follow Dr Twombly anywhere. I am very satisfied and feel as though I’ve found a home for my chiropractic needs.

I’ve been to Dr Twombley’s for my back & neck pain,he educated me on the posture,ergonomics and few other exercise which keep me away from the pain.
He is cordial and informative,the massage therapy is also good with experts in the facility.!
Such a nice office! Had to schedule a same day appointment because my back went Into spasm and could barely move and they got me in right before lunch! The staff are all so helpful and so friendly. Dr. Twombly was excellent and made me feel at ease. Definitely would recommend this office!
